Anyone wishing to file a report can also make a report via email to school911@browardschools.com or via text message by texting 'SBBC' [space], plus the text message to CRIMES (274637).

TipSoft SMS also allows us to respond by text message to the originating cell phone without ever knowing the identity of the individual who left the tip. The user’s information is always given an alias and a unique ID before being sent. This secure application allows the tipster and the investigator to have two-way dialog while always keeping the user’s identity completely anonymous.

The School Board of Broward County encourages students to report information about any non-urgent illegal activity, such as vandalism, theft, the sale and distribution of drugs or information about crimes that are being planned.

Finally, our Anonymous Reporting Box is placed at our single point of entry and that the box is checked on a daily basis.

Message From the Principal

Congratulations to all students, parents, staff and community members on working together to attain an A grade for the 2010 school year!

 

Immunizations Update

Prior to entering school this year, all seventh graders must have an updated blue 680 form showing that they are in compliance with all required immunizations, including one dose of Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis) vaccine. Parents and/or guardians must submit the blue 680 form to the registrar in the guidance department prior to August 20th. If you do not do so, your student will not be allowed to start school on August 23rd. Please remember, no shots, no school! If you have any questions in regards to immunizations, please contact Ms. Freesman at (754) 322-4704.

Sunrise Middle Green Team Ink Cartridge Recycling Program

 

Parents, students and community members:

We now have a Sunrise Green Team Ink Cartridge Recycling Drop-Box located in our Front Office/Administration reception area. Please feel free the use us as your ink cartridge recycling center. In addition to helping the environment, you will also be helping our school earn funds to purchase new technology equipment. Go Falcons and Go Green!
